• Dr. Ajit Saxena completed his medical degree (M.B.B.S.) at Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, followed by his M.S. from Delhi University. He further honed his skills with an FRCS qualification in the UK and advanced training in Urology at the renowned London Institute of Urology. Dr. Saxena practiced in the UK for eight years before returning to India, where he contributed to Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi for two years. He now serves as a Senior Consultant at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals.
• Dr. Saxena is distinguished by his expertise in treating prostate conditions through a minimally invasive technique known as Vapour Resection and in managing impotence. His innovative work in urology was recognized with the International Japanese Organization ‘OISCA’ Award in 1996-97.
• As the current President of the Delhi Andrology Society, Dr. Saxena is also a trailblazer in robotic prostate surgery in India. He played a pivotal role in organizing the first live robotic uro-surgery workshop at Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi, demonstrating his leadership in advancing urological surgical practices.
