  • Dr. Rajiv Parakh is a distinguished vascular surgeon who completed his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in the UK in 1986, specializing in Vascular Surgery before returning to India. In 1990, he established one of the first independent Departments of Vascular Surgery in the country. As a founding member of both the Vascular Society of India and the Endovascular Intervention Society of India, he has made significant contributions to the field. Dr. Parakh is also a Life Member of the Society of Vascular Surgery and served as the Secretary of the International Society for Vascular Surgery in New York, USA, in 2007. He initiated the first government-recognized teaching program in vascular surgery, furthering education and training in this critical area of healthcare.
