• Dr. S. Sudhindran serves as the Clinical Professor and Chief Transplant Surgeon at the Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery and Solid Organ Transplantation at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Faridabad. Renowned as Kerala’s first liver transplant surgeon, he has established a remarkable reputation in the field, having successfully performed over 820 liver transplants, with a focus on live donor procedures. Dr. Sudhindran is also highly skilled in pancreas and small bowel transplants. He completed his MBBS and MS at Trivandrum Medical College and went on to receive advanced training in vascular surgery and solid organ transplantation in the UK. His experience includes a Clinical Fellowship in Transplantation at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge. With over 100 publications to his name, he has made significant contributions to medical literature. In recognition of his leadership and exceptional contributions to both his alma mater and society, Dr. Sudhindran was honored with the "Distinguished Alumnus Award" by Trivandrum Medical College on February 15, 2020.
