• Dr. Ankur Bahl is a distinguished cancer specialist with over 15 years of extensive experience in the field. He graduated from Maulana Azad Medical College in Delhi with an MBBS and MD in Medicine, followed by a DNB in Medical Oncology from the renowned AIIMS, New Delhi. Additionally, Dr. Bahl has completed specialized training in Adverse Drug Reactions, Drug Interactions, and Pharmacovigilance at the University of Oxford, UK.
• Dr. Bahl’s clinical expertise includes immunotherapy, targeted therapies combined with chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, and supportive and palliative care. He is recognized for his significant contributions as the lead author of influential research on targeted therapies (such as Cetuximab) in head and neck cancers, acute myeloid leukemia treatment, and trends of human papillomavirus in the Indian population.
• He has also pioneered several innovative oncology educational initiatives and networks, both internationally and nationally. These include evidence-based oncology debates, live tumor boards, master classes, and workshops.
• Before joining FMRI Gurugram, Dr. Bahl served as the Director of Medical Oncology and Hematology Oncology at Max Hospital, Saket. He has previously been associated with the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, and Maulana Azad Medical College.
