How is EMR Performed? Step-by-Step Inside the Body

During EMR, the endoscope is inserted into the GI tract. A saline solution is injected beneath the lesion to lift it from the deeper layers. Then, the raised lesion is snared and removed safely without damaging healthy tissue.
